RAILWAY TRAFFIC NOISE AS A TYPE OF ECOSYSTEM DISRUPTION

Noise, as a consciously caused or uncontrolled sound, also represents a form of pollution very much immanent in the modern world and the traffic system in particular. Its consequences are also visible in the living environment and in any other environment, in addition to the often present disorders: the mental structure of the personality, the quality of life, but also through the disruption of the entire activities of all living beings. In a progressive traffic system, railway traffic is an important inducer of noise and requires special attention. This attention is not of the declarative type, but is proven by cycles of measurement and monitoring. Very often, the results of the analysis of noise measurements show that in different zones the noise values exceed the limit values and thus directly disrupt, disturb and change the environment. Bearing in mind that noise is inevitably present in the environment, it is necessary to implement various urban, construction, architectural, design and certainly legal, economic and administrative noise protection measures aimed at complete control and reduction. This matter is studied more closely by the negotiating Cluster 4 of the EU - Green agenda and sustainable connectivity, which includes: Chapter 14 - Transport policy, Chapter 15 - Energy, Chapter 21 - Trans-European networks and Chapter 27 - Environment.Downloads
