OBSERVATION AND TESTING METHODS IN ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS RESEARCH
Keywords:

This paper points out the main advantages and disadvantages of observation and survey - empirical research techniques that are, among other sciences, widely used in the sociology of environmental protection, social ecology, political ecology, and related fields. Observation and survey techniques are indispensable in studying various environmental concepts such as environmental awareness, sustainable development, and the like. Given the frequent use of different testing procedures, likewise measuring instruments (surveys and interviews, in the first place), different testing techniques are explained. Authors have paid attention to the division of research procedures according to the purpose (descriptive and analytical). Finally, observation and testing techniques are considered in a comparative plane and the relationship of testing to other methods.Downloads
