ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE FUTURE OF PLANET

Artificial intelligence is one of the current topics. It is characterized, on the one hand, by the continuing questioning of its use for the purposes of scientific and educational development, progress in general, and well-being. However, on the other hand, it leads to the final destruction of human creativity resulting in the creation of a totalitarian society with permanently damaged interpersonal relations. In the first part of the paper, we analyze the chronological development of AI thought. Furthermore, we provide a critical analysis of the AI phenomenon through typical pro et contra practical application. In the second part of the paper, we discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the geopolitical arms race between China and America. Additionally, we provide forecasts for the future of the planet through the trials of applying AI in genetic engineering, as well as the potential creation of a utopian/dystopian society. Finally, based on personal views as well as the obtained research results, we give our humble opinion on the topic. In the paper we have used the content analysis, chronology, and comparison of research results methods.Downloads
