Abstract

The paper discusses visual observation (searching for objects) because it is the basic way of using police helicopters when searching for persons and objects on the ground. The use of police helicopters with special sensors requires special knowledge and cannot be simply explained in one paper. Searching for objects is a very complex task, because in principle flights are performed at low altitudes and in sweeping flight with a number of specifics in the management and control of helicopters, which make it difficult to find, especially small objects such as people.
