Special Issue: Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Security in Contemporary Management
The journal Management Horizons publishes scientific and professional papers in the fields of management, law, security, and economics, as well as interdisciplinary contributions at the intersection of these disciplines. In the context of rapid technological change, organizational digital transformation, emerging economic and security risks, and the growing need for sustainable development, the Editorial Board is preparing a special thematic issue titled “Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Security in Contemporary Management.”
The aim of this special issue is to gather theoretical and empirical papers that critically examine the impact of digital technologies, innovation models, and security challenges on the management of organizations in both the private and public sectors, as well as on the legal and institutional frameworks within which they operate.

Authors are encouraged to propose additional topics, provided they clearly fit within the overall concept of the special issue.
Important Dates
– Deadline for abstract submission:October 1, 2026
– Notification of abstract acceptance: by Ocober 15, 2026
– Deadline for full paper submission (for accepted abstracts): November 1, 2026
– Notification of review results: by November 15, 2026
– Planned publication of the special issue: December 2026
Submission Guidelines for Authors
1. Language and Format
– Papers must be submitted in English.
– Accepted paper types: original scientific article, review article, preliminary communication, professional paper, case study.
– Paper length, structure, citation style, and formatting must fully comply with the Instructions for Authors available on the journal’s website.
2. Abstract Submission
The abstract (submitted by October1, 2026) should include:
– Paper title
– Full name(s) of author(s), institutional affiliation, and country
– Contact email of the corresponding author
– Abstract text (250–300 words) clearly stating the aim, methodology, and expected/main findings
– 3–5 keywords
– Suggested thematic area (1–8)
3. Submission Process
– Abstracts should be sent to: guesteditor@yahoo.com or drddasic@gmail.com
– Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be invited to submit full papers exclusively through the online submission platform of Management Horizons (upon receiving detailed instructions).
4. Peer Review Process
– All papers undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
– Acceptance of an abstract does not guarantee publication; the final decision is based on reviewers’ reports and the Editorial Board’s assessment.
– Submitted papers must be original, not previously published, and not under review in another journal.
5. Ethical Standards
– Authors are expected to adhere to academic integrity standards, including proper citation of sources, avoidance of plagiarism, and accurate acknowledgment of co-authorship.
– Papers may be checked using plagiarism detection software, in line with practices of reputable scientific journals.
